DAY 1

COCHIN AIRPORT / MUNNAR (Approx drive 4 hrs, 140 kms)

Welcomed by our representative at Cochin International Airport, traditional welcome, and later drive to your hill resort located 1600 meters above sea level. Once the summer resort of the erstwhile British administration in South India it still retains its colonial charm and is famous for its tea plantations, most of which are privately owned. With its sprawling estates, rolling hills, sparkling waterfalls, picture postcard hamlets and undulating valleys, Munnar is an ideal holiday destination.Check into your hotel for 02 nights stay. DAY 2

MUNNAR

After breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Munnar- which includes - the tea museum, short trip to the Eravikulam National Park (home to the endangered Nilgiri Thar mountain goat amongst others), Mattupetty dam or simply walk through the enchanting tea estates and enjoy the tranquility it provides. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 3

MUNNAR – THEKKADY (approx 110 kms / 3 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Thekkady through the delightful Cardamom Hills of the Western Ghats. Thekkady, the land of unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. It houses the famous wildlife sanctuary in South India and has also been declared as a Tiger Reserve.

On arrival, check-in to your hotel for 01 night. Day completely leisure. OR Optional Activities. : Enjoy a ride for 20 minutes on Elephant followed with a Spice plantation tour, bullock ride, nature walk, wildlife boating etc.Overnight stay at Thekkady

 

DAY 4  

THEKKADY - ALLEPPEY (Approx drive 4 hrs, 190 kms)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. On arrival check into your hotel for 01 night stay.

Optional activities: Day cruise on a houseboat in the backwaters of Alleppey.Overnight stay at Alleppey.

ALLPEPPEY - COCHIN (Approx 60 Kms / 1.5 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Cochin for 01 night stay. The eventful history of this city began when a major flood in AD 341 threw open the estuary at Kochi, till then a land locked region, turning it into one of the finest natural harbors in the world. Kochi thus became a haven for seafaring visitors from all over the world and became the first European township in India when the Portuguese settled here in the 15th century.

Later proceed for sightseeing of Fort Cochin & adjacent Mattancherry covering - Dutch Palace (Closed on Fridays) the Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Fridays & Saturdays). This area is known as Jew Town the centre of the spice trade. Here you find numerous spice traders and many curio shops. Visit St. Francis Church, Fort Cochin, constructed by the Portuguese in 1510 and believed to be the first European-built church in India where Vasco Da Gama was initially buried, before his remains were returned to his homeland Portugal.Overnight stay at Cochin
